Palm Harbor Boat Ramp to Close for Repairs

The bait shop at the Sutherland Bayou Boat Ramp will remain open during while the repair work is going on.

PALM HARBOR – The Sutherland Bayou Boat Ramp is scheduled to close Monday (Jan. 4) as crews start a project to repair the ramp.

The ramp, 2119 Alt. U.S. 19 N, is scheduled to reopen in March.

The bait shop on site will remain open during construction. Sutherland Bayou Bait Shack is operated by MSKSFK, Inc., a contracted concessionaire for Pinellas County Parks and Conservation Resources.  The bait shack is open daily one hour before dawn and closes at dusk.  This location sells live and frozen bait, tackle, ice, food and beverages.  For more information on the bait shop please call (727) 216-6979.

The Sutherland Bayou Boat Ramp offers direct access to St. Joseph Sound and the Gulf of Mexico. The ramp facility is open 24 hours a day and features a single boat launching ramp, 50 vehicle and trailer parking spaces, 20 vehicle parking spaces, a designated boat and motor rinse area and restroom facilities.
