The Council of North County Neighborhoods wants to know what residents think are the big issues facing the area in the coming year.

NORTH PINELLAS – The Council of North County Neighborhoods has set its annual meeting for Monday (Jan. 25), which members say is the most important of the year. Members will hear what CNCN has accomplished in 2015 and have input into the group’s 2016 strategic plan. Annual elections for open board seats will also be held.

The mission of the CNCN is to bring together the North County’s neighborhoods in Palm Harbor, East Lake, Crystal Beach, Ozona and other unincorporated areas of north Pinellas County to promote communication and cooperation, to foster a sense of community, to provide a forum for member organizations, and most important is to act as a neighborhood advocate for the benefit of our member organizations and to bring a common voice to state and county government including and not limited to the Pinellas County Commission and state legislators.

The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday (Jan. 25) at the East Lake Woodlands Country Club, 1055 East Lake Woodlands Parkway, Oldsmar. The meeting is open to everyone in northern Pinellas.
