SEMINOLE – A Seminole man was taken to the hospital Thursday (Dec. 24) afternoon after a vehicle crash.

Listed in critical condition at Bayfront Health was a 34-year-old Seminole man, whose name was being withheld until relatives could be notified.

Troopers from the Florida Highway Parol said the man was driving a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle north on Park Street towards the 62nd Avenue N intersection about 1:30 p.m.. A 2012 Honda SUV being driven by Arunas Ambrukaitis of St. Petersburg was traveling south on Park, getting ready to turn left onto 62nd. Troopers said the Honda turned into the path of the motorcycle, which hit the SUV.

Ambrukaitis was not injured, troopers said. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash and the Seminole man was wearing a helmet. Charges are pending, troopers said.
