Street Dancing in Largo
The Soul Street Dance Company from Houston will present Breakin’ Backwards, a mix of different styles and origins of street dance, at the Largo Cultural Center on Friday (May 8) and Saturday (May 9).
LARGO – Houston-based Soul Street Dance Company is comprised of kids who were formerly considered at risk and found focus through dance. They are now working as professionals. They will demonstrate different styles and origins of street dance and show off their incredible talent at the Largo Cultural Center as part of the Children’s Educational Series. Breakin’ Backwards is a contemporary mix of choreography to the most popular music of several decades including Count Basie, Elvis Presley, Aerosmith and Michael Jackson. The group will perform two shows: 7:30 p.m. Friday (May 8) and 11 a.m. Saturday (May 9). Both performances are suitable for children of all ages. $7.50 Adults, $6.50 Children, $22 Family 4 Pack and $5 per ticket when you purchase three or more performances in the Children’s Series.
