Kitten Season Means Adoption Specials at Pinellas Animal Services

Pet Adoption | Cat Adoption | Kitten Adoption

The arrival of kitten season means animal shelters will be overrun with baby cats.

PINELLAS COUNTY -Pinellas County Animal Services and shelters across the country are inundated with litters of kittens during the spring and summer months.

To encourage cat adoptions, Animal Services is offering a reduced adoption fee of $5 for cats and kittens. Those who are not able to adopt but still wish to help should consider becoming a foster parent for Animal Services. Foster parents care for the kittens and get them ready for their forever home.

Pinellas County Animal Services is at 12450 Ulmerton Road in Largo. Normal hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday., with adoption center closing at 5:30 p.m.  Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and services include adoptions.  Rabies vaccinations are administered from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays.  The facility is closed all Pinellas County holidays.
