In addition to information, the center will also have Gulfport souvenirs and merchandise for sale.

GULFPORT – This city will officially open a new welcome center during a holiday open house Thursday (Dec. 10). The open house is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the center, 3101 Beach Blvd. S, Suite 1, with the ribbon cutting set for 5:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

The new Gulfport Welcome Center will offer information and resources about Gulfport and nearby areas to visitors as well as Gulfport-themed souvenirs and other merchandise for sale. The Center will also house the combined offices of the Gulfport Merchants Association (GMA) and the Gulfport Area Chamber of Commerce.  The two non-profit community organizations both provide services to visitors and local businesses.  The chamber’s focus is on the entire city of Gulfport and nearby areas, while the mission of the GMA is focused on the Gulfport Waterfront District.
