CNCN Hosts North Pinellas State Legislators
The meeting Monday (July 20) is an informal chat for legislators to update north Pinellas residents on the 2015 Legislative session.
EAST LAKE – The Council of North County Neighborhoods has scheduled an informal get together Monday (July 20) with area legislators to discuss the historic, sometimes controversial legislative session that saw the regular session end in a “tie” and an overtime special session held in June to produce the annual budget and laws of the land. All north county legislators including state Sen. Jack Latvala, R-Clearwater, and Florida Representatives Chris Sprowls, R-Palm Harbor, and James “J.W.” Grant, R-Tampa, have been invited. They will share their wins and losess plus talk about the process of government for the people by the people as it relates to the northern part of Pinellas County.
There will be a moderator led conversation with the legislators followed by an “open mic” segment where you will be able to ask your questions. This is a public meeting and open to anyone who would like more information or has questions about the subject. The meeting will be at 7 p.m. at the East Lake United Methodist Church, 2801 East Lake Road, Palm Harbor.
