Sandy Lane and Brooker Creek elementaries have new leaders at the helm.

PINELLAS COUNTY – The Pinellas County School Board approved the appointments of two elementary school principals at a meeting earlier this week.

Tzeporaw Sahadeo, who is an educational consultant/staff developer for Learning Sciences Marzano Center, was appointed principal of Sandy Lane. Nicole Clifton is the outgoing principal. Sandy Lane, 1360 Sandy Lane, Clearwater, has about 560 pupils.

Jennifer H.Mekler, assistant principal of Sutherland Elementary School, was appointed principal of Brooker Creek Elementary. Donna Gehringer is the outgoing principal. Brooker Creek, 3130 Forelock Road, Tarpon Springs, has about 560 pupils.
