Clearwater Roads to Close Temporarily

Road Closed | Road Constuction Traffic

Some roads will be closed in Clearwater this week because of construction or events.

CLEARWATER – The following road and lane closures will take place in the city of Clearwater:

Today (Sept. 27)
Eastbound lanes of Drew Street from Duncan Avenue to Keystone Drive will be under construction starting at 9:30 a.m. through 10 p.m. today for an emergency sewer repair. Detour route: Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard.

Starting Wednesday (Sept. 28)
The Drew Street extension from Cleveland Street to Osceola Avenue will be closed starting Wednesday through 6 p.m. Sunday (Oct. 2) because of the Bright House Super Boat Championship and Seafood Festival. Local and emergency traffic will be allowed through, only. Detour route: Myrtle Avenue.

Greenlea Drive from Keene Road to Murray Avenue will be under construction starting Wednesday through Nov. 4, because of the Greenlea-Otten roadway and stormwater improvements project. Local and emergency traffic will be allowed through, only. Drivers should allow more time while traveling this route.

Saturday (Oct. 1)
Cleveland Street from Garden to Osceola avenues will be closed to through traffic from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday for the Rock the Block Party. Local and emergency traffic will be allowed through, only. Detour route: Myrtle Avenue.
