Most Pinellas County Offices to Close on Presidents Day

The courts, clerk of court and some parks will be open.

CLEARWATER – Pinellas County government offices will close on Monday (Feb. 16) for an in-service training day. The Pinellas County Clerk of Court will be open. The Sixth Judicial Circuit (Pinellas and Pasco) courts will be in session with normal operating hours.

County parks and preserves and the Florida Botanical Gardens will be open. Boat ramps and beach access areas will also be open, though annual beach and boat ramp parking permits will not be available for sale, as the administrative offices of Parks and Conservation Resources will be closed. Brooker Creek Environmental Education Center, Weedon Island Cultural and Natural History Center and Heritage Village will be closed, as they are normally closed on Mondays.

The Solid Waste Administration Building and HEC3 will be closed. The scalehouse/landfill will be open normal hours, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The offices and adoption center at Pinellas County Animal Services will be closed.

Pinellas County facilities will open as usual Tuesday (Feb. 17). More information is available on the county website, pinellascounty.org.
