Motorcyclist Dies in Pasco Crash

The crash happened when the driver left the road.

PASCO COUNTY – A Hudson man died early today (Feb. 21) when he was thrown from his motorcycle after it left the road, Florida Highway Patrol troopers said.

Dead at the scene was Brian Hagen, 34, of Hudson, who was driving a 2016 Honda motorcycle east on New York Avenue approaching Hicks Road in Pasco County about 2:20 a.m. Troopers said he failed to negotiate a curve and left the road. The motorcycle overturned and Mr. Hagen was thrown from the vehicle. He was wearing a helmet. Alcohol was not a factor.
