Motorcycle Driver Dies from Injuries in Pasco Crash

The driver was thrown from her motorcycle after losing control, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

PASCO COUNTY – A Clearwater woman died Sunday (May 29) from injuries she sustained in a one-vehicle motorcycle crash, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Donna Fournier, 61, of Clearwater, died at Bayonet Point Medical Center, according to the FHP. Troopers said she was driving her 2008 Honda Shadow on U.S. 19 N south of the Johnson Road intersection about 4:25 p.m. when lost control after starting to slow for traffic. The motorcycle overturned and Ms. Fournier, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown from the vehicle. She was taken to Bayonet Point where she died. Alcohol does not appear to be involved, troopers said.
