Fireworks | Celebration | Happenings

There’s plenty to do in Pasco this July 4 holiday weekend. Here are a couple.

Sparklebration

Monday (July 4) at the Pasco County Fairgrounds, 36722 State Road 52, Dade City. Plan to come to Sparklebration. Fun for the whole family. Admission $5 (kids 12 & younger free). Gates open at 4 p.m. Fireworks around 9:15 p.m.

Pasco Parks

Boat trailer parking will be limited at Pasco County parks this weekend as a record number of boaters are expected to hit the waterways. With major parking improvements underway at Anclote River Park and limited boat trailer parking available at Robert J. Strickland Park, visitors should arrive early to find a parking spot.

“We want to keep the public informed of this temporary inconvenience caused by high attendance and the installation of a new, improved parking area,” natural resources division manager Keith L. Wiley said. “The improvements being made will better serve Pasco County’s boating community for many years to come.”

Visitors should anticipate delays at both boat ramps because of the high volume of boaters expected. Anclote River Park,1119 Baillies Bluff Road, Holiday, and Robert J. Strickland Park, 6345 Clark St., Hudson, are open from dawn to dusk, seven days a week.
