It’s a chance to buy books from 50 cents to $5.

ST. PETERSBURG — The Friends of Mirror Lake Library will hold their fourth annual summer book sale on Saturday (June 18) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the library’s Community Room, 280 Fifth St. N.  The event is a chance to stock up on summer reading, viewing and listening material at low prices, ranging from 50 cents to $5.

The Friends group needs a few volunteers to help at the sales table. Visit “The Friends of Mirror Lake Library” Facebook page for more information or contact the Mirror Lake Community Library (727) 893-7268.

The sale offers used books of many kinds – both hardcover and paperback, fiction and non-fiction, including mysteries, travel, cookbooks, biographies, history, and children’s books. Select from movies in DVD and VHS format, music CDs and audio books on CDs for sale as well.

Co-hosted with Keep St. Pete Lit, this sale gives buyers the chance to buy books donated to the library as well as retired library books that are duplicates, extras, or are no longer needed in the public collection. All proceeds from the sale benefit Mirror Lake Community Library and Friends of Mirror Lake Library events.

If you have books to donate, please bring them to the Mirror Lake Community Library between now and Friday ( June 17).

During the event, membership applications will be available for anyone interested in becoming a Friend of Mirror Lake Library.
