Sixteen students wearing special headsets use thought waves to move drones in a futuristic race. 

We don’t often report items outside the Tampa Bay area, but we thought this event was unusual enough to share.

Sixteen University of Florida students studying subjects such as Computer and Information Science and Engineering put on specialized headgear that measure brainwave activity. The brainwaves sent their drones down a 10-yard course believed to be the world’s first such race.
