Kobie Marketing will expand its St. Petersburg headquarters.

ST. PETERSBURG – Kobie Marketing, a global leader in fully-integrated, customer loyalty marketing and customer retention agency has announced plans to expand their St. Petersburg headquarters.

Kobie projects hiring more than 250 new employees over the next several years. Currently, Kobie has nearly 200 full time employees.

Clients include major brands across retail, banking, travel, hospitality, telecommunications, restaurant, and CPG industries. Kobie says it provides innovative loyalty experiences to the world’s most successful brands.

“Kobie has been headquartered in beautiful downtown St. Petersburg since 1990. I am pleased to announce our plans to expand our Kobie footprint within the community that we’ve called home for more than 25 years, Pinellas County,” said Ashby Green, CFO of Kobie Marketing.

Pinellas County Commissioner Charlie Justice said, “We’re thrilled to announce Kobie Marketing has selected Pinellas County as the community best suited for their corporate headquarters and the continued innovation and growth of their company. I want to congratulate and thank the team at Kobie for creating over 250 new jobs in Pinellas.”

St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman said, “Kobie Marketing, Inc., headquartered in downtown St. Pete, illustrates the story of what’s happening in the new St. Petersburg. This dynamic, award-winning marketing company is thriving here, expanding rapidly and attracting new talented employees to our city. The company, and its employees, are engaged in giving back to our community through their philanthropic endeavors. We’re glad they call St. Petersburg home.”

Mike Meidel, director of Pinellas County Economic Development, said, “The expansion of Kobie Marketing’s headquarters was a competitive process, and we’re pleased that the management team considered all of the options and chose Pinellas. We’d invite other companies to investigate our technology workforce, quality of life and business climate in Pinellas. We think they’ll come to the same conclusion.”

During its 25 years in business, the company has been profitable every year. After launching Alchemy in 2008, that growth has accelerated: over the past 5 years, Kobie has been named to Inc. 5000’s fastest growing companies, and has enjoyed both regional and national recognition in the loyalty marketing and technology industry.

Kobie is a part of a growing list of global employers that are headquartered in Pinellas County. That list includes HSNi, Raymond James, Jabil Circuit, Tech Data, iQor, Triad Retail Media and PODS.
