Motorcyclist Killed in Hillsborough Crash

The crash happened when another driver turned in front of the motorcycle, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – A Tampa man died Wednesday (June 15) night when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Ryan Lundy, 30, of Tampa, died at the scene. The other driver was taken to Brandon Regional Hospital with minor injuries.

The accident happened about 11:40 p.m. at the intersection of State Road 60 and Limona Road, the FHP said. Katrina Taylor, 18, of Brandon, was driving a 1998 Ford Escort east on S.R. 60. She turned left into the path of a 2011 BMW K46 driven by Mr. Lundy, who was headed west on S.R. 60. The two vehicles collided.
