Deputies said the arrests came after a two-month-long investigation involving the sale of spice from the Beverage Castle, 4206 Orient Road. Undercover deputies said they were able purchase spice several times from employees of the Beverage Castle. Deputies then got a search warrant and, about 6 p.m. Tuesday (March 29), they searched the Beverage Castle. Deputies said they found about 249 bags – about 11 pounds – of spice worth about $5,000 and $4,725 in cash. A large quantity of the spice was concealed in the wall covered by a large board, they said.
