Gulfport Meeting to Gather Thoughts on Tangerine Greenway

The first public meeting to discuss concepts for the future of the Tangerine Greenway is tonight (June 9).

GULFPORT – This city wants to enhance the Tangerine Greenway, which extends from 49th Street S to 54th Street S. Officials want to gather public comment and build consensus on the preferred concept plan for the Tangerine Greenway. The first community workshop for the Tangerine Greenway will be held at 6 p.m. tonight (June 9) at the 49th Street Neighborhood Center, 1617 49th St. S.

This reuse project will include public engagement to define the community’s desire for the future enhancements of the Tangerine Greenway. The project will include concept plan alternatives that are reflective of the community’s ideas, wishes, and ways of finding options that includes conceptual signage design with historical narratives.
