Pinellas County Animal Services will hold a pet adoption fair in Palm Harbor on Saturday (March 12).

PALM HARBOR – Adoptable dogs and cats from Pinellas County Animal Services will be at the Wags N’ Whiskers adoption event at Pets N More, 3416 East Lake Road S in Palm Harbor from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday (March 12).

During the event, Animal Services is offering a “Name Your Price” special, where the adoptive family is able to set the adoption fee for their new family member. The special includes a medical checkup, spaying/neutering, vaccinations, internal and external parasite control, heartworm tests, feline leukemia testing and microchipping, valued at $200.

Adoption counselors will be on hand to ensure that the right pet goes to the right family.  Renters who are considering adoption should bring a copy of their lease that states that pets are welcome.

Pinellas County Animal Services is located at 12450 Ulmerton Road in Largo. Normal hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday, with the adoption center closing at 5:30 p.m. Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and services include adoptions. Rabies vaccinations are administered from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays. The facility is closed all Pinellas County holidays.
