Oldsmar Fire Rescue Firefighter/Paramedic David Smolenski died Feb. 14, 2015.

OLDSMAR – Funeral services will be held this Saturday (Feb. 21) for David Smolenski, an Oldsmar Fire Rescue firefighter/paramedic. Mr. Smolenski began his fire service career as a volunteer with Oldsmar in 1994 and was hired full time in 2002. The viewing will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. with the service beginning at 5 p.m. at the Holiday United Church of Christ, 4826 Bartelt Road, Holiday. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to either the North Pinellas Firefighters Charities, PO Box 565, Palm Harbor, FL 34682, or to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, PO Drawer 498 Emmitsburg, MD, 21727.
