It’s Earth Day in St. Pete, Tampa on Saturday

Observances take place at Williams Park in St. Petersburg and the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa.

Renewable energy, organic farms, alternative health, urban birding, outdoor education and green shopping are just a very few of the topics that will be covered in Earth Day observances to be held Saturday (Apr 23) in St. Petersburg and Tampa.

In St. Pete, the event is at Williams Park, taking place 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The park is situated between First and Second Avenues N between Fourth and Third Streets. Tampa’s EcoFest is near the Lowry Park band shell,  10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lowry Park is at 7525 N Blvd.
