County Reschedules St. Pete Beach Water Main Repair

Water Pressure | Water | Water Service

Water customers in St. Pete Beach, Pass-A-Grille, Vina Del Mar and Tierra Verde may experience low water pressure overnight Monday (Feb. 1).

PINELLAS COUNTY – County crews have rescheduled a water main replacement on Pass-A-Grille Way in St. Pete Beach to Monday (Feb. 1.)  About 4,000 water customers in the areas of Pass-A-Grille, Vina Del Mar and Tierra Verde may experience brief periods of low water pressure overnight Monday as crews install a new 16-inch water main. While customers may experience several hours of low pressure, no one is expected to lose water service.

Pinellas County crews plan to begin installing the new water main along Pass-A-Grille Way at 9 p.m. and the work is expected to be finished by Tuesday (Feb. 2) morning. The new section of pipe is being installed on Pass-A-Grille Way between Cabrillo Street and 32nd Avenue. The work was originally scheduled for overnight Jan. 28.

Customers who have questions can call Pinellas County Utilities Customer Service at (727) 464-4000 or go to pinellascounty.org.
