The event will give fans a chance to meet comic writers and authors, play games, visit vendor booths and join the costume contest.

CLEARWATER – The Clearwater Main Library will host a comics convention from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday (March 19). The event is sponsored by Emerald City Comics, Pike’s Comics, Fierce Comics and Barnes & Noble.

This free, family-friendly comic con will feature special guests Karl Moline (New Aquaman), Chuck Dixon (Bane co-creator), Ben Filipiak (Fierce Comics publisher), Pat Battan, Rob Rhine, Austin Janowsky and Bob Andelman (Will Eisner Biographer and the Spirit).

Attendees will meet comic writers and authors, play games, visit vendor booths and join the costume contest. There will be food trucks onsite as well.
