Clearwater Candidates Forum Set

Voters have a choice of two candidates for Seat 3 on the Clearwater City Council in the March 15 election and seven referendum questions to decide.

CLEARWATER – A candidates forum has been set for 6 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 23) in the Council Chambers on the third floor of the Clearwater City Hall, 112 South Osceola Ave.

Voters will have a choice of two candidates for Seat 3 – incumbent Jay Polglaze and challenger Bob Cundiff. Clearwater Mayor George Cretekos and councilmember Doreen Hock-DiPolito, who holds Seat 2, were also up for election but no one ran against them. Seven Clearwater Charter amendments will also appear on the ballot. The election is March 15.
