Seminole Firefighters Want to ‘Fill the Boat’ with Toys

Seminole Fire Rescue’s annual toy drive is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today.

SEMINOLE -Seminole Firefighters Local 2896 will be conducting a “Fill The Boat” toy drive campaign from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today (Dec. 16) at the Bay Pines Walmart to benefit the children of the Saint Vincent DePaul Homeless Shelter.

The firefighters are asking residents to “Fill the Boat” with holiday gifts. If you would like to donate, bring an unwrapped toy to the fire boat located at the front of the store, located at 10237 Bay Pines Blvd. Firefighters will also accept cash donations that will be used for purchasing gifts for the children.

In the past the firefighters have collected more than $4,000 in donations and toys from residents, providing children in the area a happy holiday season.
