VA medical centers will be open Wednesday despite the national day of mourning for former President George H.W. Bush.

SEMINOLE – The homeless walk-in clinic at Bay Pines VA Healthcare will have a new home next year.

As of Jan. 2, the clinic at the C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center Campus will be located in Building 100, MOD A.

In other news from Bay Pines, the medical center will be open Wednesday (Dec. 5) although other federal facilities will be closed for the national day of mourning for former President George H.W. Bush.

President Donald Trump issued an executive order to recognize former President Bush, and many other non-essential federal offices will be closed; however, VA will remain open to provide essential public business in caring for the nation’s veterans.
