City staff will be available to help residents in making an application to FEMA for individual or business assistance. Secure technology will be available for the applications.

ST. PETERSBURG – Pinellas County businesses, nonprofit organizations and individuals who suffered damages as a result of  Hurricane Irma can apply for federal assistance.

Pinellas County is one of numerous counties eligible for federal funds following the issuance of a major disaster declaration Sunday (Sept. 10) by President Donald Trump.

The city of St. Petersburg will open Disaster Relief Centers to help St. Pete residents affected by Hurricane Irma. City staff will be available to help area residents apply to FEMA for individual or business assistance. Centers will have secure technology available, to ensure protection of personal, sensitive information.

Residents are encouraged to visit the online FEMA checklist to review required information for the application at disasterassistance.gov.

Additional community organizations will be on site to provide information on their disaster support services.

Enoch Davis Center
1111 18th Ave. S
Today (Sept. 15) noon to 7 p.m.
Monday (Sept. 18) – Sept. 22, noon to 7 p.m.

Sunshine Senior Center
330 5th St. N
Today, noon to 7 p.m.
Monday – Sept. 22, noon to 7 p.m.

A center in west St. Pete will be open next week. Details forthcoming.

Additionally, city street teams deployed earlier this week are providing information on FEMA assistance.

Individuals and businesses can apply for funding directly online, at disasterassistance.gov or using the FEMA app, at fema.gov/mobile-app.
