Portions of Pier 60 Close for Renovations
The closure is expected to last about two weeks.
CLEARWATER – In an effort to make Pier 60 more bright, beautiful and safe, officials will close portions of the iconic pier for a few weeks to undergo some renovations.
The Pier 60 bait house and western end of the pier will be closed starting today (Jan. 22) and is and expected to reopen by Feb. 2. The rest of the pier will be open during regular business hours.
Renovations to the Pier 60 bait house will include re-siding the building, replacing the windows, roof and air conditioning unit. Crews will also be renovating the pavilions by repairing the columns and replacing/repainting the roofs.
