Pinellas Park Offers Free Permits for Home Improvements
The free permits are a feature of the city’s annual Pride in the Park clean-up event.
PINELLAS PARK – Starting on Monday (March 4), Pinellas Park’s building department will kick-off Pride in the Park by issuing free permits for specific construction and repair work on residential properties.
The free permits will be available until March 22.
“The city of Pinellas Park is happy to offer residents the ability to obtain a free permit for home improvement projects such as roofing, alterations, minor repairs, fencing, deck work, barns, sheds, trees, patios and concrete driveways,” said Steve Lee, director of building development. “It’s a great opportunity to take advantage of and it happens just prior to the city’s Pride in the Park, a spring cleanup program scheduled for Saturday, March 9th.”
Pride in the Park encourages residents to improve their property appearance by disposing of trash and yard waste. Pinellas Park offers drop-off sites that will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 9..
