Pinellas Clerk of Court to Close Tyrone Branch Office

Branch offices at that site for the Pinellas County Tax Collector and Property Appraiser will remain open.

ST. PETERSBURG – Effective Jan. 1, the Tyrone Branch Traffic Court and Tyrone Branch Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller’s office located at 1800 66th St. N in St. Petersburg, will be permanently closed.

The closure is part of the courts consolidation project. The clerk’s Tyrone office closure does not impact other agencies located at the branch, such as the Pinellas County property appraiser and tax collector, which will remain open.

Court will be in session at the Tyrone Branch, until Dec. 21. Dec. 28 will be the last day the Tyrone Branch will accept passport applications and otherwise be in service. Traffic court cases previously held at the Tyrone location will be held at the Pinellas County Justice Center, 14250 49th St. N in Clearwater.

Citizens are encouraged to visit any of the below Clerk’s offices for assistance and services:

Pinellas County Justice Center – 14250 49th St. N, Clearwater
(Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
Services include: Traffic and Parking Ticket Payments, Criminal Fines and Costs Payments, Municipal and County Ordinance Violation Payments, Seal and Expungement Petition Intake, Domestic Violence Injunctions, Jury Service, and Access to Criminal Court Records.
Note: Recording, Marriage Licenses, and Passport services are not available at this location.

St. Petersburg Branch – 545 First Ave. N, Room 153, St. Petersburg
(Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
Services include: Marriage Licenses, Marriage Ceremonies, Passport Applications Acceptance, Recording and Imaging Legal Documents into Official Records, Traffic Ticket Payments, Intake of Pro Se Probate and Civil Cases and Pleadings, Deposit and Final Sales on Mortgage Foreclosures, Legal Self Help Center, Jury Service, Domestic Violence Injunctions, and Child Support Payments.

Clearwater Courthouse – 315 Court St., Room 150, Clearwater
(Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
Services include: Marriage Licenses, Marriage Ceremonies, Marriage Photos, Passport Applications Acceptance, Passport Photos, and Recording and Imaging Recordable Documents into the Official Records.

Civil Court Records – 315 Court St., Room 170, Clearwater
(Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
Services include: Civil Court Records, Small Claims, Mortgage Foreclosures, Landlord/Tenant Actions, Medical Malpractice, Negligence, Divorce, Child Support/Alimony, Adoptions, Name Changes, Injunctions for Protection (Restraining Orders), Jury Service, and Legal Self Help Center.

Probate Court Records – 315 Court St., Room 106, Clearwater
(Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
Services include: Traffic Ticket Payments, Restitution Payments (if not owed directly to the person), Guardianships, Estates, Exploitation Against Vulnerable Adult Petitions, Baker Acts, Marchman Acts, Trusts, Petitions to Determine Homestead, and Wills After Testator is Deceased.
Note: Probation payments or payments on a juvenile case are not available at this location.

North County Branch – 29582 U.S. 19 N, Clearwater
(Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
Services include: Traffic and Parking Ticket Payments, Traffic Court, Access to Criminal Court Records, Passport Photos, Passport Applications Acceptance, Domestic Partnership Issuance, Recording and Preparing of Identification Cards for Domestic Partnership, Drop off Recordable Documents for Official Records, Marriage Licenses, Marriage Ceremonies, Intake of Pro Se Probate Cases and Pleadings, Intake of Pro Se Civil Cases and Pleadings, Legal Self Help Center, Child Support Payments, Intake of Value Adjustment Board Petitions (VAB) and forward to Board Records Department, and Utility Payment Drop off Center and forward to Utilities Department.
