Rick Kriseman | St. Petersburg Mayor | Politics

They will all be sworn in at City Hall.

ST. PETERSBURG – The weather is expected to be chilly but no rain is expected for Tuesday’s (Jan. 2) swearing-in ceremonies at St. Petersburg City Hall, 175 Fifth St. N.

The ceremonies begin at 11 a.m. in the council chambers with the swearing in of Amy Foster and Darden Rice, who were reelected to the Districts 8 and 4 seats, respectively, on the council. Two new council members will also be sworn in – Brandi Gabbard for District 2 and Gina Driscoll for District 6. They will replace Jim Kennedy and Karl Nurse, who have termed out of office.

The event moves outdoors for the noon swearing in of Mayor Rick Kriseman, who won a second term in November. The public is invited to both ceremonies.
