CLEARWATER – Pinellas County Administrator Barry A. Burton today (April 16) announced the appointment of Jill Silverboard as deputy county administrator/chief of staff, effective May 26.

In her role, Silverboard will support county operations, strategic planning efforts, intergovernmental agreements and shared services among county departments. Silverboard will join the county team after a successful 12-year stint as deputy city manager for the city of Clearwater.

“Jill brings a wealth of knowledge and local experience in issues that are very similar to those we face at the county level,” Burton said. “We look forward to her being a part of our team and contributing to our future successes.”

Burton conducted a nationwide search for the deputy county administrator/chief of staff position when a vacancy was created with former Assistant County Administrator Paul Sacco’s move to head the Solid Waste Department.
