Recycle That Tree in Pinellas

Recycle Christmas Tree | Environment | Mulch

The county and several Pinellas cities offer residents a chance to recycle their Christmas trees by turning them into mulch. To recycle a tree, the residents must remove all decorations, including hooks, garland, tinsel and lights.

PINELLAS COUNTY – Pinellas County officials are encouraging residents to recycle their Christmas trees this holiday season.

Recycled trees can be processed into useful mulch. To prepare Christmas trees for recycling, residents must remove all decorations, including hooks, garland, tinsel and lights.
