Pinellas Schools to Reopen Monday

Pinellas County’s public schools are scheduled to reopen Monday.

PINELLAS COUNTY – Classes are scheduled to resume Monday (Sept. 18) when Pinellas County’s public schools reopen.

The school system is working with the Florida Department of Education to determine the number of days that will need to be made up because of Hurricane Irma. A final decision regarding make-up days will be made soon.

The school board meeting and budget hearing originally scheduled for Tuesday (Sept. 12) have been rescheduled for next Tuesday (Sept. 19). The school board meeting will begin at 3:30 p.m. and the budget hearing will begin at 5:01 p.m. Both will be held at the administration building, 301 Fourth St. SW in Largo.
