Parent University will offer information that will help your child with math, reading, graduation requirements and more.

PINELLAS COUNTY -A Parent University workshop is scheduled for Saturday (Oct. 29).

Pinellas County Schools Parent University is a free series of informational sessions that supports the academic life and success of PCS students in kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school. PCS Parent University offers information that will help your child with math, reading, graduation requirements, STEM, Khan Academy and Pathways, college readiness, and student learning styles.

PCS Parent University Resource Café: This is an area where parents can get their questions and concerns answered by district staff. The center will include stations about 504 plans, Kindergarten registration, Choice Programs, Student Assignment, ESE, Career Academies, PTA, Pinellas Technical Colleges, Family Engagement Opportunities, Family Resources -Juvenile Welfare Board and others.

Free schools physicals and adolescence immunizations as well as free childcare  (with advance registration) will be offered at Saturday’s event. The event is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Countryside High School, 3000 State Road 580, Clearwater.
