Lakewood Elementary Pupils Get Bikes for Perfect Attendance

The bikes were donated by Hands Across the Bay.

ST. PETERSBURG – Thirty-five pupils from Lakewood Elementary School were awarded bikes for their perfect third-quarter attendance.

The nonprofit Hands Across the Bay donated the bikes as a gesture of gratitude to the students and their families for their dedication to learning and pursuing academic success.

Hands Across the Bay was developed to positively impact the lives of Tampa Bay residents. The organization assists and mentors hardworking families in need, advocates for change, supports other organizations and spreads love with various acts of kindness.
