Pasco Deputies Find Body of Missing Boater

He fell out of a boat in Lake Conley.

HOLIDAY – Pasco deputies on Monday (Oct. 1) found the body of a man who fell out of a boat in Lake Conley.

Harry Sam Jr., 39, who was a resident at the Tahitain Inn on U.S. 19 in Holiday, fell out of a small boat Sunday (Sept. 30) and the other people on the boat were unable to find him.(Click here for related story.)

Deputies from the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office began their search about 6:50 p.m. Sunday and continued until about 2 a.m. Monday. They renewed their search at daybreak Monday.

Foul play is not suspected and there was no signs of trauma to the body. Cause of death will not be known until the Pasco County medical examiner completes an autopsy.

Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office marine unit and dive team found the body in the lake. The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission helped in the search.
