BROOKSVILLE – A Brooksville woman was arrested after she hit her boyfriend with a frozen pork chop, the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said.

Jennifer Julie Brassard, 48, of Brooksville, was charged with domestic battery.

Deputies said Brassard was arguing with her live-in boyfriend Saturday (Feb. 2) when she threw a frozen pork chop at him. The pork chop hit her boyfriend on his left eyebrow, causing a cut about a half-inch long. Brassard then fled.

Deputies said that, based on statements from Brassard and her boyfriend and on the injury, they determined she was the primary aggressor.

The two have lived together for about a year.
