Clearwater police are investigating the stabbing.

CLEARWATER – A woman died today (Dec. 26) at a hospital of injuries she in a stabbing, Clearwater police said.

Information is limited. Police and paramedics from Clearwater Fire and Rescue were called to 1450 S Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. about 10:25 a.m. A woman was found stabbed inside a residence there. Police said she was taken to Morton Plant Hospital with life-threatening injuries. She died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
