Wimauma Woman Accused in Double Murder
The murder victims were found inside a Ruskin home, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – A Wimauma woman has been charged in the shooting deaths Wednesday (Jan. 24) of a man and a woman whose bodies were found in a Ruskin home, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.
Samona Louise Ramey, 32, was charged with two counts each of first degree felony murder and possession of a controlled substance, and one count each of possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug without a prescription and introduction of contraband into a detention center.
The murder charges arose from the shooting deaths of Juanita Donna Solorzano, 33, who was also known as Juanita Gomez, and Alexis Martinez, 26, of Ruskin. They were found dead inside the Martinez residence.
Deputies said they have also found a surveillance photograph of an unidentified man whom they are seeking to identify and interview to determine any knowledge he may have regarding this homicide.He is described as between 6 feet and 6 feet 3 inches tall with black hair.
