UPDATE: Tampa Police Continue Investigation into Teen’s Shooting Death

Two other teens received injuries, Tampa police said.

TAMPA – Police here continued late Sunday (Feb. 12) their investigation into a shooting that left a 17 year old dead and two other teens injured.

Tee’on Milledge, 17, died after being struck by gunfire Saturday (Feb. 11) night. Two other teens, 16 and 17, received non-life-threatening injuries, the Tampa Police Department said.

Officers said the shooting happened about 10:30 p.m. at 1015 Lily White Court, which is near N 7th Avenue and Nuccio Parkway. Mr. Milledge and his friends had some sort of interaction with another group that, for unknown reasons, escalated into a confrontation involving gunfire, police said. More than one person fired a gun and those involved in the shooting scattered.
