UPDATE: Driver Charged in Pinellas Park Crash

One of the victims in an early Sunday (Aug. 14) morning traffic crash has died.

PINELLAS PARK – Police ugraded charges against a St. Petersburg man after the death of one of the victims in an early morning traffic crash Sunday (Aug. 14) on Park Boulevard.

Caroline Sue Sine, 34, of St. Petersburg, the driver of the other car, died of her injuries Monday (Aug. 15) at Bayfront Health. Her passenger, Sean R. Hankins, 36, of Tampa, remains in Bayfront Health in critical condition.

Bryce Albert McCloud, also known as Brice MacLeod, 31, of 945 6th St. N in St. Petersburg, has been charged with DUI manslaughter in relation to Ms. Sine’s death. He is charged with DUI causing serious bodily injury in relation to Hankins’ injuries. Police said that charge could also be upgraded to DUI manslaughter if Hankins loses his life.

The crash happened about 12:50 a.m. Sunday (Aug. 14) when a 2016 Toyota Corolla driven by McCloud ran a red light at Park Boulevard and 40th Street N. The Corolla hit a 2003 Toyota Camry that Sine was driving, police said.
