Hernando sheriff’s deputies said all three admitted committing six vehicle burglaries.

SPRING HILL – Three teens have been arrested in connection with six vehicle burglaries in Spring Hill over the weekend, the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office said.

Two of the teens are 16 years old. Tampa Bay Reporter is not naming them because of their ages. The third, Marc Anthony Pabon of Spring Hill, is 18. Each of the three is charged with five counts of conveyance burglary and one count of armed conveyance burglary, all of which are felonies.

The arrests came after deputies received a tip identifying the three, who were caught on video burglarizing vehicles in Spring Hill on Saturday (Nov. 3) night and Sunday (Nov. 4) morning.

Upon interviewing the boys, deputies said, all three admitted to committing the six vehicle burglaries that detectives were investigating.

The teens told detectives that they had spent Saturday night at one of their homes. Later that night, they walked through adjoining neighborhoods searching for open vehicles to burglarize.

The teens removed numerous items from six unlocked vehicles. The items included a laptop computer, multiple computer monitors, microphones and a 9mm pistol.

With the help of the teens’ parents, detectives said they were able to recover multiple stolen items.

One of them told detectives that he had given the stolen firearm to a fourth person who was not connected to the burglaries. Detectives said they are trying to retrieve the firearm.
