Tampa Murder Suspect Captured in Atlanta

Authorities will transport him from Atlanta to Hillsborough County.

TAMPA – A man wanted in a Dec. 31 murder in Tampa has been caught in Atlanta, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.

Joseph Ervin Brown, 26, was wanted in connection with the shooting death of Isaiah Lee Morrison, who was found shot at 13415 Nebraska Ave. in Tampa. Mr. Morrison died from his injuries at Tampa General Hospital.

A warrant had been issued for Brown’s arrest on charges of First Degree Murder and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

Authorities said they will transport Brown from Atlanta back to Hillsborough County.
