The man was on his computer when Tampa police executed a search warrant.

TAMPA – Police here have charged a man with possessing hundreds of images of child pornography.

Daniel Sutton, 60, was charged with 100 counts of possession of child pornography. Each count is a second degree felon, according to the Tampa Police Department.

Police said they received a cyber-tip Feb. 20 from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Officers followed up on the tip and today (April 19) got a search warrant for Sutton’s home.

Sutton was at home on his computer when officers arrived. Police said he was taken into custody and cooperated with detectives. Police said they seized the computer that Sutton was using at the time of the search warrant, and located hundreds of images and videos of child pornography. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
