Tampa Man Charged in Home Depot Parking Lot Shooting

The shooting, which resulted in the death of a woman, is suspected to be drug related, Hillsborough deputies said.

BRANDON – A Tampa man has been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting death of a woman in a Brandon Home Depot parking lot, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.

Be’Quadre K. Jackson, 18, of Tampa, was with one count each of Murder in the First Degree, Robbery, and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

The charges arose from an April 7 shooting in the parking lot of the Brandon Home Depot store at 1524 Brandon Blvd. The shooting victim, an adult woman, died of her injuries at Tampa General Hospital on April 8. Her name has not been released.

Deputies said the shooting is believed to be drug related.
