The sexual abuse lasted for about six years and began when the child was 3 years old, Hillsborough deputies said.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – A Tampa man has been accused of sexually abusing a child over a six-year period, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.

Sebastian Aquino, 28, of Tampa, was charged with Sexual Battery (Victim less than 12; defendant 18 or older).

Deputies said that, between 2011 and 2017, Aquino sexually battered the child on multiple occasions at different locations within Hillsborough County and the city of Tampa.

The victim was 3 years old when the sexual abuse began.

Deputies said Aquino admitted to sexually battering the child.
