Tampa Man Accused of Home Invasion Robbery

He was seen on a surveillance video, according to Hillsborough deputies.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – A Tampa man has been arrested and charged in connection with a Nov. 29 home invasion robbery, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.

Bishop Nathaniel, 22, of Tampa, was charged with one count each of Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Armed False Imprisonment, Robbery Home Invasion, and Grand Theft Third Degree.

The charges arose out of an incident that happened about 10:07 a.m. Nov. 29 on Clifton Street in Hillsborough County.

Deputies said a man was seen letting the air out of the tires of a vehicle parked on Clifton Street. When the owner confronted Nathaniel, He pulled out a small revolver, struck the owner in the face and head with the gun and forced the man back into the house.

Once inside, Nathaniel demanded cash and jewelry and then fled the residence with multiple watches, gold jewelry and the victim’s wallet. Nathaniel fled but was caught on a surveillance video. The owner suffered cuts to his head and face.
