Tampa Man Accused of Attempted Murder
Hillsborough deputies said he called 911 and reported shooting another man.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – A Tampa man has been arrested after a shooting Tuesday (April 16) morning, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
Peter Ballard Pinto Guedes, 29, of Tampa was charged with one count of Attempted Murder. The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital in critical condition.
Deputies said that, about 8 a.m. Tuesday, Guedes called 911 saying he had shot someone inside a home on the 10000 block of Goldenbrook Way in Tampa. Guedes and the victim are known to each other.
No other information was immediately available.
